Chantelle’s Goal Setting

20151004_150628No one is perfect and no one has everything that they want. That’s the beauty of life. It’s all about the journey.

Much like everyone else, I too have MANY goals I want to achieve. It’s already come to light that some of my goals may have to be reprioritised. For example I was hoping to buy a house before March 2019, but I think that will be definitely going on hold (unless I win the lottery!)

We are almost officially half way through 2018 so it seems like the perfect time to announce my goals for the remainder of the year:

  1. Get a part time job to financially support me whilst developing Telle’s Nutritional Life.
  2. Lose 17lbs by 31st December 2018
  3. Have 10 clients by the end of the year (either coaching clients and/or weight management).

It is important to keep your goals SMART:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Timely

I have been goal setting since 2012 and it is something that is used across all kinds of disciplines – health care, coaching – wherever you need to set a goal. It makes the goal very specific and in theory more achievable.
